Since the day we were established over 20 years ago, OTTO have prided ourselves on our close cooperation with the very best of European OEM producers. In fact, it was the 100% quality of our parts that set us apart from the factoring organisations and won us our loyal trade customer base. We have worked hard since our humble beginning to continue looking after our customers without compromise but also in the background to make sure that you have access to a range of OEM quality parts which is second to none.
One example of a supplier we have proudly represented in Ireland is GKN who produce original equipment driveline components among others and which we stock under the SPIDAN and LÖBRO brands. For those of you not familiar with GKN, their brands or the driveline parts they produce then a couple of little facts may surprise you. They invented the CV joint as we know it being the first volume producer of the front wheel drive half shaft with CV joint. So front wheel drive was not new, a CV joint had been prototyped before but one of the oldest engineering businesses in the UK radically changed the way cars were produced when they developed the Mini half shaft. Japan was soon to follow with the transverse mounted front drive configuration and now we take this drive shaft configuration as being normal.
In fact your 2016 daily whether it is two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, front or rear driven is quite likely using a joint, half shaft or propeller shaft with serviceable components in the SPIDAN and LÖBRO range. Not just European models from VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda, Mercedes-Benz, BMW or Opel that you may have associated with OTTO in the past, no, try Nissan, Hyundai, Ford, Mitsubishi. In our usual fashion we make things easy for you and today a simple click on the buttons here will take you to 5 lists of the new arrivals to the GKN range.

Quite a collection of those hard to find items? Quality assured by the simply unmatched centuries old pedigree of GKN these driveline parts are a “no brainer”, any other choice is a compromise. In fact it is a compromise that we’re not happy to make in OTTO so you won’t find us offering inferior quality parts or short cut fixes to get you going but that is hardly a surprise. We were always the “Original Equipment” people when we opened the doors in the last century and we remain so.
